Waiting Times For Planning Permission Need To Be Reduced

That's according to a Bantry real estate agent, who says there has been a large increase of first time buyers trying to exit the rental market to get onto the property ladder.
His comments come on the back of figures released today by the REA Average House Price Survey, that shows house prices in Cork County rose by almost 10 percent since this time last year - with the average three bed semi now costing an average of 174 thousand euro
Meanwhile, price hikes in the city are beginning to level out with just an 0.8 percent increase in the past year.
