Wallace and Daly arrested at Shannon airport

The Independent TD Mick Wallace says he broke into Shannon Airport to inspect whether there were arms on two US military aircraft. He and Deputy Clare Daly were both released without charge this afternoon, after being arrested for trying to access the aircraft. They were stopped on the tarmac by airport police before being handed over to Gardai who briefly detained them at Shannon Garda Station. A file is being prepared for the DPP. Deputy Wallace says he doesn't know if he'll be charged. Click PLAY to hear audio
