Warning Issued To Fermoy Traders
Fermoy traders are being urged to be on the look out for a new scam operating in the town. The scam which is designed to confuse traders involves high value notes - usually around 500 euro. Scammers request to have large notes changed into lower values of notes and coins. They then confuse staff by claiming they have been short changed and the trader ends up at a loss.
