Warning Issued to Mortgage Holders Wishing To Switch Providers

The ESRI is urging people to make themselves fully aware of the process involved
Anyone seeking to take out or switch mortgages is being urged to make sure they're aware of the deal they're getting.
It's after new ESRI research found many mortgage holders were not aware of the processes involved in switching.
Most were initially attracted to higher cashback options, despite costing more to pay off the home loan.
Dr Shane Timmons from the ESRI says there were other aspects that people weren't aware of:
