UCC students have been warned that there will be a visible Garda presence in the area during next weeks' Rag Week, and they will operate a zero tolerance policy around anti-social behaviour.
In an email issued to the student community by the acting head of student experience at UCC, students are reminded that there can be significant consequences for anyone found breaking the law, including possible restrictions on future travel to the US
The annual fundraising week, gets underway on Monday, but over the years the event has been marred by complaints from locals in the College Road area about drunken students
Speaking to RedFM News Eolann Sheehan Students Union President says he's confident that this year's event will go off without a hitch .
