Water pressure to be turned down for people who fail to pay

Pressure will be applied to householders who fail to pay new water charges with their water pressure reduced.. The cost of water charges has yet to be formally agreed. but it's understood that the cost to an average household will be in the region of 100 and 300 euro a year. It's understood that Irish Water, the new body responsible for water supply will have the power to reduce the water pressure of any customer who consistently refuses to pay.
