Welsh Court fines Cork man almost £1,300 for breaking covid-19 travel restrictions

The 24 year old was in the country to collect a car he had bought
WalesOnline reports Harry O'Rourke of Ballinluska, Crosshaven had travelled almost 900 miles from his home when police stopped him.
Officers pulled the 24 year old over on the A477 on the 22nd of May last year.
When questioned about the nature of his journey, O'Rourke told the officers he had travelled to the country to pick up the car he was driving.
Carmarthen Magistrates Court fined him £1,100 with an additional £85 in costs and a £110 victim surcharge for breaking Covid restrictions on Monday.
