West Cork Teen Receives Standing Ovation At 'Our Ocean Wealth Summit'

A West Cork teenager who gave an impassioned speech about the realities of climate change this morning received a standing ovation at the Our Ocean Wealth summit in the City this morning.
Alicia O'Sullivan addressed hundreds in City Hall including keynote speaker Former US Secretary of State John Kerry about the realities of climate change.
The summit which is taking place in City Hall today focuses on the importance of protecting the world's oceans from the impacts of climate change.
Efforts are ongoing here in Cork to tackle pollution in Irish waters with fishermen in Castletownbere leading the way by collecting rubbish and plastic they find floating while at sea.
