White House bars several journalists from its briefings

Last night President Trump's press secretary barred several large media outlets from his press briefing - and instead held an off-the-record meeting with a small number of journalists
The US President is calling for the time honoured tradition of protecting a journalist's sources to be scrapped.
In a speech to Republican party faithful last night Donald Trump said - he's not against the media as a whole - but only fake news.
It comes as journalists from across the globe have been expressing concerns after several large media outlets from White House briefings. The BBC, The Guardian, CNN and Buzzfeed are among those who have been blocked.
Donald Trump says a story should only be published if sources are named.
