Winter Vomiting bug at Mercy University Hospital
The Mercy University Hospital has restricted visiting times due to an outbreak of the winter vomiting bug.
Visiting is restricteed in all areas except those visiting children and the critically ill.
The hospital Emergency Department has also appealed to the members of the public needing less urgent treatment to avail, where possible, of other care services.
They are asking patients to contact their GP or South Doc before presenting at the ED.
