Woman Dies In Cork Crash
Gardai in Cork are investigating a fatal crash in Donoughmore overnight. A 27 year old woman was killed in the single vehicle collision which occured at 1am. The woman recieved serious injuries in the crash and was transferred to Cork University Hospital. She was pronounced dead at 3am this morning. Meanwhile the only other occupant of the car, a 29 year old male, is being treated a CUH. His injuries are not believed to be life threatening. A forensic examination of the scene will take place later this morning - and motorists are being advised that the Coachford to Mallow Road is closed through Donoughmore Village. Gardai are appealling for witnesses to the crash to contact Macroom station.
