Women & Families Affected By Cervical Check Crisis Will Be Briefed On Scally Report

That's the promise from Health Minister Simon Harris
The women and families affected by the Cervical Check crisis will be formally briefed on the Scally report, before it's published.
That's the promise from Health Minister Simon Harris, who's confirmed he's meeting the report's author tomorrow, before bringing it to cabinet on Wednesday.
Over 200 women were affected by the scandal involving misread smear tests, including Cork women Irene Teape and Carol Murray.
Speaking at the Kennedy Summer School in Wexford, Minister Harris said he's confident lessons can be learned.
