Women's Aid Ireland says it's important this issue is being highlighted


Women's Aid says shows like Love Island can help people to recognise men's controlling behaviour.

Earlier this week on the dating reality TV show Rosie called out Adam over his treatment of her, after he blamed her insecurity for pushing him away.

It's led to the UK arm of the charity issuing a statement saying that trivialising people's thoughts and feelings can be a pattern of manipulation and emotional abuse.
