Workers Could Be Up €20 Per Month Following Budget 2018

Workers across Cork city and county are expected to be €20 better off each month after tomorrow's budget.
The Governments plans to cut the USC on earnings up to €70,000, which would mean roughly an extra 20 euro a month for people on average incomes.
Budget 2018 t may also see the introduction of a long-planned working family payment, topping up the wages of low income families.
The parents of families with children on minimum wage would see a €2.45 per hour top-up, worth €98 a week for someone working 40 hours.
