Works to pedestrianise 17 streets in the city centre get underway next week

The streets were temporarily pedestrianised last summer to allow for outdoor dining and social distancing.
Resurfacing works will get underway on Caroline street, Pembroke Street, Oliver Plunkett Street, Cook Street and Maylor Street on April 12th.
Similar works are due to take place on Paul street, St Peter and Paul's Place, Little Ann Street and Little Cross Street on April 19th.
Traders in these areas are encouraged to arrange deliveries for before 9:30am as the streets will be closed to vehicles once the works get underway.
Pedestrians will be able to access all of the streets for the duration of the works.
