World renowned author on autism to visit Cork next month
Holly Bridges will host the workshop, 'Autism, Anxiety and the Art of Body Cognition' in Cork next month.
Holly Bridges will host the workshop, 'Autism, Anxiety and the Art of Body Cognition' which is taking place at the Bessborough Centre on April 5th and 6th, and will discuss approaches to managing stress for those with autism.
The Australian author is advocating the reframing of autism and says there's often a very narrow focus on autism as a deficit and as a result the benefits associated with being on the spectrum remain unspoken about.
Speaking to RedFM News Holly says the workshop is applicable to many people, not just those who have experience with autism:
