Roads are wet across the county this morning, but as yet no ice has been reported.
However a yellow weather warning remains in place Leeside and an orange weather warning remains in place across most parts of the country.
Met Éireann is predicting that low temperatures will remain until Sunday.
Sean Hogan, Chair of the Emergency Co-ordination Group for Severe Weather, is urging people not to take unnecessary journeys:
