Youghal left reeling after 10 year old's drowning

The Youghal community has expressed it's shock at the news a 10-year-old boy drowned yesterday evening. The coastguard service received a 999 call shortly after 5pm yesterday evening and the rescue helicopter - based in Waterford - was dispatched along with the Youghal inshore lifeboat and the volunteer coastguard unit. Kyle Roche was located a short time later. He was airlifted to Cork airport and brought by ambulance to Cork University Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
