Youghal RNLI locate two people who failed to return from a trip yesterday afternoon
Friends raised the alarm when the two people did not return on a small boat in the Redbarn area.
The volunteer lifeboat crew located the two people around 1 mile off shore.
The engine of the boat had failed and they were struggling to row it due to the tide and a strong wind.
They were taken on board the lifeboat and their boat was towed back to Redbarn.
Youghal RNLI are encouraging people who are heading out on the water to let friends or family know what time they expect to return at.
