A young woman from West Cork has been killed in an accident in Tanzania
Sonia De Silva McCarthy, from Ballinascarthy who also had an address in London, died last Sunday during a trip to the African country
The Echo reports that a book of condolences will open in the community hall in Ballinascarthy on Saturday between 1pm and 6pm.
Sonia is survived by her parents, three siblings and grandparents.
