Zac Higgins Fundraiser Kicks Off Today
The fundraiser takes place in Mahon from 2pm
A fundraising event for a toddler who suffered serious head injuries after a hit and run is taking place in Cork today.
Two and a half year old Zac Higgins was hit by a car at Castle Meadows on the Skehard Road last month and remains in Temple Street Children's hospital where he continues to receive medical treatment.
The kids friendly event in aid of Zac's recovery is taking place at Ring Mahon Rangers where there are a number of activities on offer including bouncing castles, face painting, raffles and auctions
The event is open Adults and children alike from 2pm until 5pm this evening.
