Zero tolerance approach to illegal bonfires across Cork
Calls have been made for a zero tolerance approach to illegal bonfires across the city and county. The message comes ahead of Bonfire Night next month when it's feared emergency services will be hampered by unsupervised bonfires. Last year gardaí were required to assist fire personnel after an illegal bonfire in the Deanrock Estate in Togher was lit close to a family centre.
