Cork entrepreneur raises €20k for Edel House using just his back garden

A Cork entrepreneur has raised €20,000 for Edel house using just his back garden.

Dan Sweeney's initiative ‘Dawn at the Lawn’ saw him run around his back garden continuously for a 14 hour period to raise funds for Good Shepherd Cork.

As he had limited space he wore a path through the back garden but he was overwhelmed by the reaction and his efforts saw him exceed his initial target of €5,000.
