Here's a reminder of today's Covid headlines

There are 503 new cases of Covid-19. 

101 patients are in hospital with the virus, with 38 in intensive care.

No information on Covid-related deaths is available, due to the effects of the cyber-attack on computer systems.

Pfizer will start making its Covid vaccine in Ireland.  

The pharmaceutical company has announced it will manufacture the vaccine at its Grange Castle site in west Dublin by the end of the year.

The World Health Organization is warning people they can’t do what they like - even if they’re fully vaccinated.

The Covid-19 vaccine portal has opened for 49 year olds to register this morning.
