Here's a reminder of today's Covid headlines

There are 469 new cases of Covid-19 in the Republic. 

103 patients are in hospital with the virus, with 38 in intensive care.

Younger people are among one in seven adults who'll go on to suffer long Covid.

New research suggests people who've had Covid-19 are more likely to suffer health problems in the long term than those who haven't had it.

Over a fifth of people booked to get a Covid-19 vaccine in Drogheda on Tuesday were 'no-shows'. 
 
89 of those due for the jab did not arrive or inform the HSE they wouldn't be attending.

The Taoiseach says he'll make a 'comprehensive statement' next week about addressing the travel and aviation crisis. 

He says it's vital to 'reboot' the sector and he'll engage with the airlines.

Micheál Martin says he'll also outline next week how more restrictions will ease in June and July, allowing more sports and entertainment.
