The European Commission's blocked the export of Oxford-AstraZeneca coronavirus vaccines made in Italy to Australia.
It follows claims the manufacturer failed to meet its contract commitments to the EU.
The Italian government refused to send 250,000 doses abroad - a decision supported by Brussels.
