Health officials urging people to exercise caution as more Covid restrictions are lifted
From midnight tonight, outdoor sports like golf and tennis can start again as well as training for underage sport
Outdoor attractions such as zoos and heritage can also re-open, while the numbers allowed at funerals increases to 25.
It's reported outdoor dining and beer gardens could be allowed from June under the government's plan to ease lockdown.
Dr Ray Walley, GP advisor to the HSE on Covid, says that might not be possible:
"Well I think our prevalence levels at the moment, certainly wouldn't allow us, we have got our numbers down quicker than any other European country, and we can do this as long as we adopt a conservative cautious approach. We need to ensure that we continue even outdoors, to keep our distance with people, if we are in, within two metres of people you need to wear a facemask. The great thing about doors is good ventilation."
