People urged to applaud frontline workers tonight

People throughout Ireland are being urged to applaud frontline workers again tonight for their work during the pandemic. 

People are being encouraged to come to their doors at 8 o'clock on Thursday nights to clap their hands for thousands of healthcare staff. 

It follows Easter Sunday's 'Shine Your Light' initiative, as the country came together in solidarity.
