Rathcormac school says they remain open to receive pupils

The Board of Management at a Rathcormac school which was hit by an outbreak of Covid 19 say the majority of tests carried out at the school are negative.

In a letter issued to parents following a meeting last night the board said they are following public health advice and the school remains open to receive pupils.

Parents were informed that while there are some positive cases among pupils and staff, the vast majority of tests carried out are negative 

Four classes are restricting their movements as well as pods from three other classes while remote learning is being provided to pupils who are required to restrict their movements.

The schools remains open to receive all other pupils however if parents choose to keep their children at home they were told that a list of work covered in school each day will be posted online.
