UCC Students & staff Asked to Volunteer for Rapid Antigen Testing

UCC Students and staff are being asked to volunteer to be part of a rapid antigen testing programme to be rolled out on college campuses.

The project, being rolled out at UCC, Trinity, NUI Galway and UCD, will also include saliva-based PCR testing and wastewater surveillance.

The Higher Education Minister Simon Harris says over 8 thousand people will participate in the study, which he hopes will give additional resources in the fight against COVID-19.
