WATCH: The Academic Perform Northern Boy

Craig and Steve from The Academic called in to Izzy last night to perform an acoustic version of their single Northern Boy before they headed to Cyrpus Avenue to play a sold out gig for UCC RAG Week.

The Mullingar boys have been going from strength to strength in their last year with singles such as Different, Norther Boy and their newest release Sometimes proving to be serious crowd pleasers.

The Academic previously played Cyprus Avenue in December as well as supporting the likes of Pixies, Kodaline and Noel Gallagher at Live At The Marquee in Cork.

Their EP Loose Friends is out now and you can also catch the boys in their biggest gig to date in Vicar Street in Dublin on March 11th.
