2017 Football All Star Nominations

Cork's Sean Powter has been nominated for Young Footballer of the Year as the 2017 All Star Football nomination list is unveiled.
The young Douglas clubman is nominated alongside Dublin's Con O'Callaghan and Galway's Michael Daly.

Dublin's James McCarthy and Stephen Cluxton and Mayo's David Clarke and Andy Moran are the four players in contention to be named Footballer of the Year.
Powter told RedFM Sport that the news came as a surprise to him.
Thirteen players from Dublin's All-Ireland winning panel have been shortlised for Football All-Stars.
After their 10-match Championship run, Mayo have received twelve nominations.
Tyrone have six nominations, Kerry five, there's two each for Roscommon, Kildare and Down, while Monaghan, Donegal and Armagh all have one each.
