The Cork Senior Football and Hurling Squads, under new Management teams began their 2016 campaigns today.
The Footballers hosted Limerick in Mallow in the McGrath Cup and emerged victorious on a scoreline of 1-10 to 0-12.
Different fortunes for the Hurlers, Kieran Kingston's charges were beaten by Clare in Sixmilebridge, 1-14 to 0-14.
