AUDIO: Mourneabbey Ladies Reaction After County Final Success

Mourneabbey claimed back to back titles with victory over St Vals in the Cork Senior County Championship Final replay last night.
The sides couldn't be separated in a thrilling encounter at CIT last Saturday evening, and while last nights contest saw Mourneabbey hold a strong lead from the end of the first quarter it wasn't over until they secured their third goal in the 36th minute through Brid O'Sullivan.
Leading 2-6 to 0-5 at half time, Mourneabbey were held to just 1-3 in the latter half, but St Vals couldn't find the space through their opponents defence to find the goal their comeback required.
