Cork City v Pat's Reaction - John Caulfield and Kevin O'Connor
City in Impressive form in 3-1 win
Cork City turned in a decent performance last night as they saw off the challenge of St Patrick's Athletic with relative ease.
First half goals from skipper Alan Bennett and man of the match Kevin O'Connor had the Rebel Army in a comfortable position at the break, and Darren Dennehy's second half header from a corner all but killed off the game.
Morgan Langley pulled one back for the visitors but they never really looked like getting a second.
The result sees City move to within five points of leaders Dundalk, who play Shamrock Rovers tonight (Tuesday).
