Cork clubs vote on structure of club championships

GAA Clubs in Cork last night voted on the structure of the club championships for 2020/21.
After some debate, Option A emerged the clear winner, receiving 136 votes, or 61% of the vote.
That means that one championship game will be played in April, with the rest from August
Option C, the playing of games without inter-county players for two games in the summer received 52 votes, or 23% of the vote.
Option B - beginning the championships in August - received 33 votes, or 16%.
A new Senior A grade will be created, which means there will now be four 12 team grades,
And speaking after last night's vote, county secretary and CEO Kevin O'Donovan says that while option A was the comfortable winner, it's worth noting how well option C performed.
