(Pic with thanks to @Mark_Dinan on Twitter) Cork are the 2014 Munster Senior Hurling Champions. Jimmy Barry Murphys charges ended an eight year wait for the provincial honours with a six point win over Limerick at Pairc Ui Chaoimh. At half time the sides were level at 0-12 a piece, but two second half goals proved crucial in ending the rebels wait for silverware. Seamus Harnedy raised the first green flag, with Paudie O'Sullivan making another massive contribution off the bench netting the second goal. It ended 2-24 to 0-24 as Pa Cronin lifted the Munster Cup in front of thousands of Rebel Fans. Cork now wait for the All Ireland Semi final on August 17th, with Dublin, Tipperary, Waterford, Wexford and Tipperary still in the mix, Kilkenny as Leinster Champions will contest the other semi final.
