EXTENDED INTERVIEW: Irish Point Guard Edel Thornton
Edel Thornton has rejoined us in studio to discuss her success since moving to the States to play Basketball.
The Former Brunell star moved to Connecticut to play with the Bobcats of Quinnipiac University in 2015.
Since then she has made history, becoming the first Irish player to compete in the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Championships.
Thornton is home for the summer as attention now turns to International duty, the Ireland Women's team play Iceland in Cork next Friday at the Mardyke from 7:30.
