Go Red for Cork and Marymount
Cork GAA fans are being urged to Go Red for Cork and Marymount this week.
Wednesday marks the 30th anniversary of the Cork Double, when the footballers defeated Meath to add the Sam Maguire to the Liam McCarthy captured by the hurlers two weeks previously.
Cork fans are being asked to GO RED and to donate funds to Marymount - by texting Marymount to 50300 or to go online - idonate.ie/GoRedForCork.
The idea is the brainchild of James O'Connor who launched the idea with his friend, Cork, Castlehaven and St Finbarr's star Conor Cahalane, the son of Niall Cahalane who won the All Ireland with the footballers in 1990
We've been speaking to both of them, starting with James - press PLAY
