Munster hopes of making the Heineken Cup quarter finals are still alive after today's 26-17 win over Edinburgh at Murrayfield. Munster only scored two tries so they failed to secure a bonus point. The first was a penalty try after 53 minutes while Conor Murray got the second on the hour mark but it was Edinburgh who finished the game stronger with two late tries from Dougie Fife. The rest of the Reds points came from the boot of Ronan O'Gara. As it stands, Munster are in the final quarter final place, just ahead of Leinster on tries scored. They need to match Leinster result and number of tries scored next week, the Blues are away to Exeter while the Reds host Racing Metro. Former Munster winger Ian Dowling spoke to us about next week and the performance in Murrayfield. (Click play button above to listen to the interview)
