INTERVIEW: Mary I Take Fitzgibbon Cup Case to DRA
The Fitzgibbon Cup player eligibility controversy has taken a new turn this evening with confirmation that Mary Immaculate are set to take their case to the DRA. The Limerick College were reinstated to the competition last Monday as IT Carlow were thrown out for fielding an illegal player, however Carlow won an appeal in the late hours of Wednesday night and reclaimed their place in the competition quarter finals due to take place tomorrow. CIT await the winners of one of tomorrows games in the semi finals, due to be played on Friday as LIT plays host to the Higher Education Hurling Finals weekend.
