INTERVIEWS: Under 21 Football - Cork 5-8 Limerick 2-12 - Post Match Reaction
The Cork Under 21 Footballers battled past Limerick to book their place in the Munster Championship Semi Finals last night. The holders put five goals past the hosts, but were, by their own admission, below par throughout the 60 minute contest. The Treaty County, 5 points down at half time, pulled it level ten minutes into the second half, but shortly after came Cork's fourth goal through Sean O'Donoghue. The final score a five point winning margin for the Rebels, at 5-8 to 2-12 it sets up a semi final meeting with Kerry at Pairc Ui Rinn next Wednesday night (March 18th) at 7:30.
