Joe Duffy to Headline UFC Dublin
Irish Joe Confirms His Next Opponent
Irish Joe Duffy has confirmed his next fight - and it's a belter.
The Donegal native will headline UFC Dublin on October 24th, and his opponent will certainly be familiar to Irish fans.
Dustin Poirier is the man who will step into the octagon in the 3Arena - the American was beaten by Conor McGregor last year.
Since then "The Diamond" has moved up to lightweight and won his last two fights, beating Carlos Diego Ferreira and Yancy Medeiros in impressive style, finishing both in the first round.
It represents a big step up for Duffy, who has been earning rave reviews for his two UFC performances to date - the latest being the slick submission of Ivan Jorge at UFC Glasgow.
No other fights have been confirmed for the card, however it's thought Paddy Holohan will face Louis Smolka, while Cathal Pendred is also set to feature.
