They beat Liverpool to clinch the title
Manchester City clinched the first bit of silverware in English football.
They won the Community Shield at Wembley on penalties against Liverpool.
It ended 1-1 after 90 minutes with the Blues goal coming from Raheem Sterling before Joel Matip cancelled it out for the Merseysides 12 minutes from time.
City goalkeeper Claudio Bravo made the decisive intervention, saving Georginio Wijnaldum's spot kick.
