Cork City WFC have their final game of the Continental Tyre's Women's National League season as they travel to Ferrycarrig Park to take on Wexford Youths Womens FC this Sunday at 2pm.
The Leesiders come into the game on the back of two straight wins 4-0 vs Kilkenny United WFC and last Sunday a 2-0 victory over Galway WFC and will hope to carry this form into this final game and finish the season on a very positive note.
Looking back on the last two weeks Cork City WFC manager Frank Kelleher had this to say; "It's been a good couple of weeks for Cork City WFC. Back to back wins has really helped the squad to believe the club is moving forwards"
On Sunday's clash with Wexford Youths Womens FC he had this to say; "This weekend we travel to the current champions. We had a very tight game in Bishopstown earlier in the season and conceded in injury time having matched Wexford for 90 minutes"
He continued "This is another tough test. We have prepared well this week and have focused on what we need to do to focus only on this game. We are confident that our performances will show our progression this season"
On the injury front Tara Mannix remains out with a long term injury.
