PODCAST: The Big Red Bench Sunday February 15th 2015
We began this evenings show with a brief round-up of the days action, including reports after FA Cup wins for Arsenal, Aston Villa and Bradford. Former Munster and Ireland Winger Moss Finn joins us to discuss Ireland Six Nations victory over France. Jimmy Barry Murphy and Luke O'Farrell react after Corks National Hurling League defeat to Kilkenny, before former Cork Captain Tomas Mulcahy gives us his analysis. Ahead of the Siam Warriers Muay Thai Super show at Neptune Stadium next Saturday night, we're joined by Barry O'Connor from Spartan Thai in Ballincollig to talk to us about his fight. Next week sees the Red Bull Crashed Ice event hit Belfast, where some of the world's best Skaters will descend on Stormont competing on a specially constructed downhill track, reaching speeds of up to 65 miles an hour. Among the competitors is Cork based Vytas Lukosevicius, who joined us on the show to tell us more. Next week the Irish Drug Free Powerlifting Assocation National Single Lifts are being held in CIT, Powerlifting legend Tony Pierce called in to preview that event.
