PODCAST: The Big Red Bench Sunday November 16th 2014
A mixed day for Cork Clubs in Munster and All Ireland Club championship, at the top of the show we deal with the disappointing result. We heard from Ballincollig Manager Michael O'Brien after their Munster Semi Final defeat to Austin Stacks, while Peter McNamara of Cork's Evening Echo offers his analysis of the three point loss. It was all positive as we then heard from Valley Rovers Manager Ger Slyne as they booked their place in the Intermediate Munster Final, while Mourneyabbey Coach Shane Roynane gave us his thoughts after their All Ireland Semi Final victory today. We discussed Irelands huge win over Georgia and what it means ahead of the clash against Australia next week. We had a lenghty chat with County and Munster Champions Milford, as Rebecca Finn, Sarah Sexton and Lisa Healy joined us in studio. James Buckley reacts after winning the North City and District Sports Award, while we hear from John O'Sullivan on his article "The Off Season Doesn't Exist" (an extended version of which you'll find here) Click PLAY above to hear the show in full, and enjoy!!
