Rory McIlroy Ahead of Round Two of Open Championship
Rory McIlroy leads after round one of the Open Championship from -6 par, but hasn't enjoyed the best second rounds in recent tournaments. He'll be hoping to avoid what's been dubbed "second round syndrome" , or a "Freaky Friday" as some Golf commentators have called it. The 25 year old is a cumulative 57 under par for first rounds this season, but nine over on Fridays. The Memorial Tournament his most inconsistent showing, carding a 63 on the Thursday, he followed it up with a second round 78.
