Sanita Puspure wins gold at the European Rowing Championships

Cork's Sanita Puspure added another medal to her collection yesterday.
The Ballincollig rower won the women's single sculls final at the European Rowing Championships to make it back to back titles.
Puspure dominated the field to win in a time of 7:36.04, more than 2.5 seconds ahead of Magdelana Lobnig.
Puspure now has back to back European golds to add to her back to back world golds.
Elsewhere Fintan McCarthy of Skibbereen won bronze in the lightweight single sculls, while Cork's Ronan Byrne partnered with Tipperary's Daire Lynch to take bronze in the men's double sculls.
The women's four of Eimear Lambe, Aileen Crowley, Aifric Keogh, and Fiona Murtagh also took home bronze at the Championships, which were held in Poznan in Poland.
