The Cork County Board Strategic Review Steering Committee are set to hold an open forum for Clubs on the state of the game here on Leeside.
Club representatives are being invited to the meeting in Eire Og on September 24th, with an outside facilitator being brought in to oversee the process, after which a report will be compiled to detail all proposals.
The board sought the approval of Delegates to begin a "head hunt" for a Coach for the County Under 21 Hurling team, with Chairman Ger Lane identifying the coaching of teams as an area of concern in the intercounty reports.
This move was supported by Delegates and the Board expect to have an individual to formally propose at the September meeting of the board.

Meanwhile, we here at Bench towers are still trying to get our heads around the Michael Conlan fight yesterday.
Here's a challenge - watch the fight again, but with the commentary off. Try and watch it objectively. Was it a robbery, or was it a bit closer than that?
We've done just that, and Conlan was definitely robbed. No doubt about it. Can't blame him for being angry afterwards.
